Background: In April of 2023, SC DOT awarded a $100,000 grant to the Upstate Mobility Alliance to conduct a Feasibility Study/Analysis to explore the establishment of a Transit Hub at the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP). A $125,000 project in total, this Study will look at how a Transit Hub at GSP can help local transit authorities expand their service to reach the airport, serve the airport’s need for better mobility of passengers to and from the terminal and parking lots, and serve as a point of connection for regional mobility. The Study will be used to inform decisions about future connectivity to, from, and within, the airport’s property.
