There are currently four task forces working on strategic focus areas. Each group is chaired by a private and public sector representative, and they meet regularly to advance their goals.
Active and Livable Communities
The Active & Livable Communities Task Force will look at how we can continue to support and enhance opportunities to promote growth in a connected and active manner.
Growing Mobility Investments
The Growing Mobility Investments Task Force will create an inventory of revenue sources, build relationships among stakeholders interested in enhancing mobility in the Upstate, and develop a clear message around why to invest in mobility.
Moving People
The Moving People Task Force will look at how to best deploy and support methods such as public transit, paratransit, ride call service, ridesharing, vanpooling, local shuttles and more across the Upstate region.
The Technology and Innovation Task Force will focus on how to leverage existing assets and capabilities to expand our identity within a growing Future of Mobility (FoM) Ecosystem.
